A daily program for seniors living alone. Every day between 9:00-10:00am, a telecare volunteer call to see if everything is alright.
This is a free service for any senior living in Muskegon county.

White Lake Community Education
If you are 62 years of age or older, you can receive a senior card which entitles you to the following:
  • $50 off any class that is offered through the Community Ed. (You can do this twice a year.)
  • Attend sporting events at both Whitehall and Montague for free. (Any game except the conference games.)
  • Senior meals that are sponsored by the White Lake Community Ed. These are usually breakfasts. Look in the Beacon for dates and times.

Senior Citizen Groups/Activities in the White Lake Area

Forever Young Luncheon
2nd Thursday of the month at the Rothbury Community Church located at
2550 W. Winston Road in Rothbury.
You need to be 55 or older and it is free. They do accept donations.
Call 893-4965 to make reservations.
Faith Lutheran and St. James Lutheran Church: Older Wiser White Lakes Group
Meet the fourth Tuesday of the month for various activities and outings.

White Lake Baptist Church
They meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month for lunch, potluck style, and they usually have guest speakers.
They also meet for breakfast at the Villa Venafro restaurant the 3rd Tuesday at 9:00 am.
 
Shuffleboard
At the Montague Township Park from May to September.
Dues are $4.00.

An association of senior citizen groups discussing and influencing legislation and issues of importance to "older citizens".

Mercy Hospital
Lunch is served at the hospital cafeteria every Sunday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
You need to be 60 years old or older.
 
S.A.M. Club
Meets at the Muskegon Community College the first Thursday of the month at 2:00 pm, September through May.
